Founder and CEO

Daniel Sorenson Founded Natural Aesthetics Dental Lab in 2000. The foundation of the company began with a passion for artistry and precision, inspired by Dr. J. Harris, a cosmetic dentist and mentor. Initially torn between a chemical engineering scholarship and a career in dental technology, the founder chose to pursue dental laboratory school at Idaho State, encouraged by his uncle’s guidance. His journey started at Treasure Dental of Idaho Falls, where he gained hands-on experience while completing his education. After working for his uncle for several years, he returned to his hometown in Utah and, at just 26 years old, established his own dental lab in a remote area. Faced with a shortage of trained technicians, he took an innovative approach by developing a formal training curriculum, which evolved into a full-fledged laboratory school. He extended opportunities to the deaf and hard-of-hearing communities. The lab school thrived, graduating around 72 students annually and expanding under the leadership of Daniel. After years of growth and development, he returned to his roots in 2000, building a 19-person lab before relocating in 2007. Throughout his journey, he gained invaluable mentorship from industry leaders like Willi Geller, John Ness, and Lee Culp, refining his expertise and contributing to the advancement of dental laboratory education and training.
