Daniel Sorenson founded Natural Aesthetics Dental Lab in 2000. The company began with a passion for artistry and precision, inspired by Dr. J. Harris, a cosmetic dentist and mentor. Initially torn between a chemical engineering scholarship and a career in dental technology, Daniel chose dental laboratory school at Idaho State. His journey started at Treasure Dental of Idaho Falls, where he gained hands-on experience while completing his education. After working for his uncle, he returned to Utah and established his own lab at age 26. Faced with a shortage of trained technicians, he developed a formal curriculum that evolved into a laboratory school. He extended opportunities to deaf and hard-of-hearing communities, and the school grew to graduate roughly 72 students annually. Throughout his career he received mentorship from industry leaders including Willi Geller, John Ness, and Lee Culp, refining his expertise and contributing to dental laboratory education and training.
